Seamless Metal Siding Made to Full Wall Lengths in New Jersey

We make seamless metal siding in NJ on our own siding roll former: woodgrain-embossed steel or aluminum siding, run to the full length of each wall, so a run has no lap joints. Lap and board-and-batten style profiles are made to the lengths on your installer’s cut list. Written quotes come back within 24-48 hours, and your installer puts the siding on the house.

What is seamless metal siding?

It is metal siding made in one piece per run instead of in short stock lengths. Each piece is roll-formed to the length your installer measured, so the course runs from one end of the wall to the other without a lap joint.

Standard lap siding comes in fixed lengths. On a long wall, the pieces overlap wherever one ends and the next begins, and those overlaps show as a line of joints across the wall. Seamless siding removes them. The wall reads as long, unbroken boards, and there are fewer joints to open up or collect dirt.

The face is woodgrain-embossed, so the metal carries the texture of wood boards.

Steel or aluminum seamless siding?

Both are woodgrain-embossed and both are roll-formed to length. Steel is the heavier, stiffer choice; aluminum does not rust, which suits homes near salt water.

Siding is made to the lengths on your cut list. Lap and board-and-batten style profiles in both metals.

Near the ocean or the bays, steel finish and substrate warranties can exclude the site. Our guide to metal near the Jersey Shore explains how to choose. Finish warranties come from the coil maker; see our warranties page.

Lap or board-and-batten?

Lap siding runs in horizontal courses, each one overlapping the course below. Board-and-batten style siding runs vertically, with raised battens between wider boards, a look that suits farmhouses, barns and modern homes.

Both styles come off our seamless siding roll former in the lengths on your cut list. Many homes mix them: lap on the main walls and board-and-batten on gables, dormers or an addition.

How do you order seamless metal siding?

Your installer measures each wall and sends a cut list: every piece length and how many of each. We roll-form the siding to those lengths in our shop.

  • Profile: lap or board-and-batten style, and which walls get which.
  • Metal: steel (26 to 29 gauge) or aluminum (.024″ to .027″).
  • Color: the color name. Custom (non-stock) colors carry a minimum quantity.
  • Cut list: each piece length and quantity, wall by wall, including the shorter pieces above and below windows and doors.
  • Trim: corners, window and door trim and any other edge pieces, which we bend as custom trim.
  • Longest length: long pieces take care to handle and deliver, so tell us your longest run when you ask for a quote.

Send the list with the quote form, by email to info@architecturalmetalpanels.net, or text a photo of it to (732) 236-8750. Field dimensions are the installer’s responsibility, and we do not measure on site.

How long does it take, and how does it arrive?

Written quotes come back within 24-48 hours of receiving the cut list. The siding lead time is on your quote.

There is no minimum order, so a single wall or an addition is fine. We deliver within about a 5-hour drive of the shop, across New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware and Maryland, and the delivery cost is quoted with the order. You can also pick up at the shop during office hours, Monday–Friday 7 AM–5 PM. Have a lower written quote for the same parts? Send it with your request and we will match or beat it.

In New Jersey, replacing the existing siding on a one- or two-family home is generally ordinary maintenance that needs no construction permit, though historic districts can still require review.

Who orders seamless siding from us?

Siding contractors, builders and homeowners who have their own installer. Contractors send cut lists for the jobs they are bidding; homeowners ask their installer for the measurements and send them with a quote request.

Siding jobs often need more than siding. We also fabricate soffit and fascia and K-style gutters in our shop, and our metal wall panels hub covers panel profiles for modern elevations.

Seamless metal siding questions

What is seamless metal siding?

It is woodgrain-embossed steel or aluminum siding roll-formed to the full length of each run, so the wall has no lap joints along a course. We make it in our shop to the lengths on your installer’s cut list.

Which metals and thicknesses do you offer?

Steel in 26 to 29 gauge, or aluminum from .024″ to .027″. Both have a woodgrain-embossed face and come in lap and board-and-batten style profiles.

Do you make board-and-batten seamless siding?

Yes. We roll-form lap and board-and-batten style profiles, each to the lengths on your cut list.

What do I need to send for a quote?

A cut list with every piece length and quantity, the profile, the metal, the color and any trim. A written quote comes back within 24-48 hours.

Do you install seamless siding?

No. We are a fabrication shop. We roll-form the siding and bend the trim to your installer’s cut list, and your installer puts it on the house.
