Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 2026
This policy explains what information Architectural Metal Panels collects through this website, how we use it, who helps us handle it and the choices you have. It covers our quote, contact, plan upload and submittal request forms. It also covers the calls, emails and text messages about a request, and the analytics tools on the site.
Who is responsible for your information?
Architectural Metal Panels LLC controls the personal information collected on this website. You can reach us at 13A Jules Lane, New Brunswick, NJ 08901, by phone at (732) 201-5224, by text message to (732) 236-8750 or by email at info@architecturalmetalpanels.net.
Which details reach us?
Mostly the details you decide to send, plus a little technical data attached to each form.
Details you type or send
- Quote forms (including the short version beside some pages): the project type, your name and phone number, and on the full form your ZIP code plus, if you add them, your email, street address and notes.
- Plan upload form: your name, company, email, phone, project name and town, bid due date, scope of work, notes and the plan or spec files you upload.
- Submittal request form: your name, company, email, phone, project name and town, the date you need the submittal, the documents you need, notes and any spec sections or drawings you attach.
- Calls, emails and text messages: whatever you tell us or send us, including texts and photos sent to (732) 236-8750, such as dimensions, cut lists, sketches or photos of your building.
Details recorded automatically
- With each form: the web address of the page where you used it, any tracking tags in the link you arrived through (such as the ad or search campaign), your browser type, the consent wording you agreed to, and a scrambled code made from your IP address. We use that code to stop repeated spam submissions, and we do not store the IP address itself with your request.
- Analytics, if switched on: pages viewed, how you arrived, your device and browser, and actions such as tapping the phone number or sending a form. See the service providers section below.
We do not ask for payment card numbers, bank details, Social Security numbers or other government ID numbers on this website. Please do not send them through a form.
How do we use it?
We use your information to answer your request and run our business, and not for unrelated purposes.
- To call, text or email you about your request and your order.
- To prepare a quote and, on architectural and commercial orders, shop drawings for your approval.
- To arrange delivery to your job or pickup at our shop.
- To keep records of your request, our quote and, if you order, the order, the invoice and the finish warranty documents.
- To keep a record of the consent you gave us to contact you.
- To block spam and other abuse of our forms and tools.
- To see which pages help visitors and which need work, when analytics is switched on.
- To meet legal duties, such as tax and business record-keeping rules.
Phone calls and texts after a request
Our quote forms ask you to agree that Architectural Metal Panels may call or text you about your project. The plan upload form asks you to agree to be contacted about the bid by phone, text or email. Agreeing is not a condition of buying anything from us. You can also text us first at (732) 236-8750, for example with a photo or sketch of what you need.
Our texts stick to your request and your order, such as questions about dimensions, quotes, drawing approvals, and delivery or pickup, so their number depends on the job. Your carrier may charge for messages and data. To end texts from us, answer STOP to any of them, or tell us by phone or email. Your mobile number and text consent stay with us, and we never pass them to another company for its marketing.
How is a request stored and sent?
Each request is saved as a private record in our website’s database, which only our site administrators can open. A copy goes by email to our office inbox so we can answer it.
If we connect the website to a customer-management system, the same details are sent to that system over an encrypted connection. The website itself runs on servers provided by our hosting company.
What happens to uploaded plan files?
Plans and specs sent through our send plans for a quote page, and files attached to a submittal request, are kept in a private folder on our server that blocks public web access. Our staff can download them only while signed in to the website, through private links in the bid notification.
We use the files only to prepare, discuss and follow up on your quote and, if you order, to prepare shop drawings and fabricate your parts. When a plan request record is deleted, its plan files are deleted from the server with it. Uploading plans to us does not change who owns them.
Which service providers do we use?
A few outside services help run the site. Here is what each one does and what it receives.
- Web hosting: our hosting company stores the website, its database and uploaded files.
- Email: our email provider delivers form notifications to our inbox and carries our replies to you.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: when switched on, this spam check runs on our forms. It processes your IP address and browser information to tell people from bots. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager: used only if we switch them on. They load after you first scroll, tap or type, or a few seconds after the page opens, and they measure visits and actions such as form sends and phone taps.
- Microsoft Clarity: used only if we switch it on. It records how pages are used, such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, so we can see where a page confuses people. It loads the same way as analytics. See the Microsoft privacy statement.
- Google Fonts and YouTube: our heading font may load from Google’s font service, which receives your IP address and browser details. YouTube videos load in privacy-enhanced mode, and only after you press play. See the Google privacy policy.
Does the site use cookies?
Only in a few places. WordPress sets login cookies for our staff when they sign in. If analytics or Clarity is switched on, those services set their own cookies or similar identifiers in your browser.
Your browser settings let you refuse or clear cookies, and the pages and forms keep working without them. Google also offers a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics.
Do we sell or share your information?
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not trade lead lists with other companies.
We share it only with the service providers listed above, or when the law requires it, for example under a subpoena or court order. We may also share it to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or with a buyer or successor if our business is sold or merged. Any successor would have to honor this policy for the information it receives.
When do we delete a request?
A request stays on file while it is still useful for answering you, preparing and following up on a quote, and showing the consent you gave us to contact you. When a request no longer serves those purposes, we delete it, and any plan files go with it.
If you order from us, we keep the quote, the approved drawings and the order and invoice records for as long as our legal and tax record-keeping duties require. Spam-check counters expire on their own after an hour or less.
How do we protect it?
The site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Requests are stored as private records that only administrators can open, plan files sit in a folder that blocks public access, and the forms carry spam and abuse protection. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please send only what we need to quote your order.
What can you ask us to do?
You can ask us at any time to do any of the following.
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
- Delete your information, including any plan files you uploaded.
- Send you a copy of your information in a common file format.
- Stop calling, texting or emailing you about your request.
To make a request, email info@architecturalmetalpanels.net, call (732) 201-5224 or text (732) 236-8750. To confirm the request is really yours, we may ask you to write from the email address or call from the phone number you used on the form. There is no charge. We tell you what we did, and if we must keep something, such as an invoice, we explain why.
The New Jersey Data Privacy Act
The New Jersey Data Privacy Act took effect on January 15, 2025. It applies only to businesses that do business in New Jersey or target its residents and that meet one of two tests in a calendar year. Either they control or process the personal data of at least 100,000 New Jersey consumers, not counting data processed only to complete a payment. Or they handle the data of at least 25,000 consumers while earning revenue or discounts from selling personal data. You can read the law as enacted, P.L.2023, c.266.
Whether or not the Act applies to a business of our size, we honor the access, correction, deletion and copy requests above for anyone who asks. Selling personal data is not part of our business.
Children
This site is meant for adults who order building materials or plan building work. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
Our pages link to manufacturers, government sites and other sources. Their privacy practices are their own, so check their policies when you visit them. Our terms and conditions of use cover how this website may be used.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our forms, tools or service providers change. The effective date at the top shows the current version. If a change affects how we use information we already hold, we say so on this page.
